Vehicle into a Structure

Millville Fire Co was dispatched to a Vehicle into a building. They arrived to find a SUV through a exterior weight bearing wall and requested the SCTRT. Firefighters were able to extricate the subject from the SUV without further compromising the structure. The SCTRT supported the wall as Bennets Towing removed the vehicle. The team finished shoring the wall and turned the property back over to the building management. They had crews en-route to place a more long term shoring in place until the building could inspected and the wall replaced. Departments envolved: Millville Fire Co, Bethany Beach Fire Co, Sussex County Technical Rescue Team, Sussex County EMS.
