I.G. Burton hosts Blades, Seaford and Laurel for Vehicle Rescue Training
On Wednesday evening Jan. 6th I.G. Burton of Seaford, hosted the Blades, Seaford and Laurel Fire Departments for a vehicle rescue training preformed by General Motors. The topic of the class was responding to incidents involving Hybrid vehicles. Vince Pilato, of General Motors, was the instructor. Mr. Pilato is a Firefighter/Paramedic from Williamson, New York, which is in the Buffalo area and he travels the country teaching safety classes for G.M. Fire Officers stated the training was a huge success since over 90 firefighters were present for the event.
